The Neta Voucher Giveaway enables the winners to order Neta Garden Watering products to the value of their winning ticket. The competition formed part of Neta’s promotional campaign launched at the 2015 HTH conference.

The Home Timber & Hardware group held its 2015 National Conference at the Gold Coast Convention Centre in Queensland from 3-5 March 2015. There were plenty valuable of opportunities for suppliers and stores to network, including the Celebration Dinner and Gala Awards Dinner. These events combined with the Conference Plenary and Business Learning Sessions were insightful and well supported. The National Conference is a unique opportunity for supplier’s to display their product, services and show specials to the HTH group members.

Neta Relocates Brisbane Corporate Office and Warehouse Facilities

Neta, a garden watering and irrigation company, is relocating its corporate head office. The new offices and warehouse are located at Northgate, 6 km closer to the Brisbane Airport and ideally situated close to the Brisbane Port and Gateway Arterial. The new facility includes over 6,000 square metres of warehousing, large yard space, modern offices and a showroom.

Philip Scarff, Neta CEO says “the move is a strategic business decision that will adequately meet the company’s growth aspirations and allow us to continue to improve our overall service offering to our customers. The relocation will be completed by the end of August and ahead of the all important spring and summer seasons. During the transition period, we will continue to fully service our customers’ requirements. The relocation has been carefully planned and customers can expect the transition to be seamless, with minimal disruption”.

Neta will be operating from the new location effective 1st September 2014.

Meet Neta’s founder: George Alexander

Meet Neta’s founder: George Alexander. In the 1940s, George Alexander combined his knowledge of mechanics and engineering with a creative mind and invented some highly successful products during his business career. After the 2nd World War, he used his savings to set up a factory to manufacture one of his inventions, a system of brass hose fittings. He called his hose fittings business “Neta”. Neta Receives Home Timber & Hardware 2014 Exhibitor of the Year Finalist Award

Neta Industries has received a 2014 Exhibitor of the Year finalist award at the Home Timber & Hardware National Conference held at the Cairns Convention Centre. Home Timber & Hardware says: ‘…the award highlights your proven ability to deliver a “total package” as part of your trade show space. Alongside the votes from stores, our judges looked for strong staff presence and engaging customer service, compelling offers that represented great value to stores, quality and interactivity of stand, as well as effective use of signage and technology in the overall stand design & fit-out’. Lee Sheppard, Neta’s National Sales Manager, said that being recognised as a 2014 Exhibitor of the Year finalist with Home Timber & Hardware was a huge thrill for everyone concerned. He added: ‘Although we didn’t win first place, we were one of the four finalists out of approximately 130 exhibitors’. Neta Industries is looking forward to participating in the 2015’s Home Timber & Hardware conference.

Neta attends Hardware & Building Traders National Conference 2014

Neta Industries attended the Hardware & Building Traders National Conference 2014, held at the Gold Coast Convention & Exhibition Centre, 9 – 11 April 2014. The conference was a great networking experience with a sizable attendance rate by HBT members. The most popular Neta conference specials included the Platinum Kat Hose, Tap Timers & the new stainless steel range of hose reels and hose trolley.

Hardware & Building Traders (HBT) is a buying group created for independent timber, hardware, garden and building supplies retailers. Founded in 1997, in 2013 memberships exceeded 430 retail stores located throughout all the States and Territories of Australia. HBT members are independently owned and operated businesses.

Neta attends M10 2014 Conference and Expo

This year’s Neta exhibition stand at the Mitre 10 2014 Conference and Expo at the Gold Coast Convention centre was considered a huge success by all. The Mitre 10 Expo is an annual event and attracts hundreds of M10 store owners and their staff from all over the country: it’s the place to be for M10 store representatives and suppliers. Total sales for the event topped $5 million.

Many commented that Neta’s stand was one of the best and had a strong brand presence with a focus on the Retail Ready range of micro irrigation products. Five bays of Neta products made an impressive display, with store owners drawn to the ‘how it will look in my store’ approach. There is very little hesitation to convert once stores owners see the Retail Ready layout and realise how it can increase sales.

Neta’s new products were also very popular, in particular the Stainless Steel Hose Reel & Trolley and the Heavy Duty Stainless Hose Reel, as they represent Neta’s reputation for quality products. There were also some killer show specials which attracted a lot of attention and follow-on sales. There was also a bit of fun for the store owners who visited the stand with a ‘Where’s Fred’ competition to spot Fred the gnome to win Retail Ready product package.
